The controller of the data collected through this site is Carmelo Alessandro, reachable at heme.alessandro@gmail.com.

What data is collected

This site does not use profiling cookies, analytics tools, or any tracking systems. No data is collected while simply browsing the site.

The only place where personal data is collected is the contact form: if you choose to write to me, your name, email address and the message you enter are collected.

Purpose and legal basis

Data submitted through the contact form is used solely to respond to your request (e.g. an information or quote request). The legal basis is the consent given by voluntarily submitting the form (GDPR art. 6.1.a) and/or the performance of pre-contractual steps taken at your request (GDPR art. 6.1.b).

How data is processed

The contact form relies on the third-party service EmailJS, which delivers the message directly to my inbox. EmailJS acts as a data processor and may process data on servers located outside the European Economic Area. I do not receive or store your data in a database: the message simply arrives in my inbox, where it stays until I delete it manually.

Data retention

Messages received by email are kept for as long as needed to handle your request, and afterwards until you ask me to delete them or I remove them myself.

Your rights

As a data subject, you have the right to access your data, request rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, object to processing, and data portability (GDPR art. 15-22). You can exercise these rights by writing to heme.alessandro@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (garanteprivacy.it) or your local supervisory authority.
